What we do with your details
Short version: we use what you send us to answer your enquiry, and nothing else. No list, no newsletter, no selling it on, no advertising trackers on this website.
Who we are
Haymaker Arcade places boxing and arcade machines in UK venues. We are the data controller for anything you send through this website. You can reach us at [email protected] or on 07392 395913.
This site does not track you
There is no analytics on this website, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts. The fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google. Nothing is stored in your browser. That is why there is no cookie banner — there are no cookies to consent to.
What we collect, and only when you send it
- The enquiry form: your name, your venue name and postcode, a phone number or email address, what you are interested in, and anything you type in the notes box.
- Your IP address: recorded with the enquiry. It is used to stop the form being abused by bots and to rate-limit repeated submissions, and for nothing else.
- Server logs: our hosting keeps standard web server logs, as all hosting does.
If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email instead, we hold whatever you send us in that conversation. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and its own terms apply to messages you send through it.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Because you asked us a question and we cannot answer it otherwise. In UK GDPR terms that is either steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry. We do not rely on consent for marketing, because we do not do any.
Where it goes
An enquiry becomes an email to our own inbox, plus a line in a log file on our hosting so we can tell whether a message actually arrived. It is not sent to a CRM, a marketing platform or any third-party form service. Our website hosting and our email provider process it on our behalf as part of running the site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are talking to you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. If you become a customer we keep what we need to run the agreement and to meet our accounting obligations. Ask us to delete your details and we will, unless we are legally required to keep them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Email [email protected] and we will deal with it. If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
