Fresher’s week is the whole year in a fortnight
If it is in the room for fresher’s, it gets seen by every new student in one go and it stays in the room for the rest of the year. Worth planning a machine around on its own.
It costs the union nothing to try
Student venues run tight budgets and slow sign-off. Profit share gets round both: there is nothing to buy, so there is nothing to get approved and nothing to put in next year’s budget.

This is the part most operators skip, because a supplier who has already been paid has no reason to care where the machine ends up. On profit share we are not paid until it earns, which is exactly why we are fussy about the corner. What actually decides takings.

Do you already work with student venues?
Yes. We run a machine at Atmosphere, the students’ union bar at the University of Salford, and we place machines at university sites elsewhere. Ask and we will put you in touch.
Can we get it in for fresher’s week only?
Yes — that is a hire, at a fixed price agreed upfront, delivered and collected by us. Plenty of venues do fresher’s as a hire and then move to profit share once they have seen what it does.
Does the union have to buy anything or sign a long agreement?
Nothing to buy and nothing to rent. Terms are in writing before anything is installed, and if it is not earning we move it or take it back. We only make money when the machine does.
Is it safe to have in a bar full of students?
It is installed by us rather than dropped off, and serviced on a schedule. Faults are ours to fix. If your venue or your insurer needs specific paperwork for their file, ask us and we will tell you exactly what we can provide — a straight answer rather than a badge.
